There is an ADA compliant section of the garden available to those with disabilities. Access to this section requires transportation up into the garden by golf cart, and requires advanced reservation.

To ensure the beauty of the garden for all, pets (except guide and assistance dogs), biking, and smoking are prohibited.

Photography is welcomed. Please remember that Quarryhill is an educational and scientific collection. Removing seeds or cuttings from the garden is strictly forbidden. For your convenience, picnic areas are located near the parking lot and in the garden. Quarryhill does not have a gift shop or retail plant nursery.

Quarryhill is a 25 acre botanical garden of mature, flowering Asian trees & shrubs. Magnolias, dogwoods, maples, birches, roses, lilies, rhododendrons, and many others are laced with paths and hidden places to sit and relax, while surrounded by ponds, waterfalls, and vistas of the Sonoma Valley.

Quarryhill welcomes visitors year round to enjoy our Asian woodland garden, containing a rich diversity of Asian flora. All seasons in the garden have their own beauty.

Self-guided tours are available during our open hours without reservation. Docent-led tours are available by reservation. Group tours for garden clubs and other groups or organizations are also available with advance reservation.

Self-Guided
Quarryhill Botanical Garden is open for self-guided tours year-round.  No reservations are necessary, but we ask that you please sign in and out during your visit. There is a sign-in sheet in the parking area, under the information board. Garden maps and brochures can also be found in this area. Please place visitor fees and donations in the provided box. If you have any questions visit us in the garden office, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.

Docent-led
Docent-led tours are available for groups of 8 or more throughout the year. If you would like to schedule a docent tour for less than 8 people it may be possible depending on docent availability. Reservations are required two weeks in advance for all docent-led tours. For groups of 25 or more, please make reservations at least one month in advance.

3rd Saturday Docent Tours
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, March through October, individual visitors can join a docent-led tour. These tours provide an opportunity for individuals to enjoy the benefits of a docent without having to form their own group.

Tours begin at 10:00 am and last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early. In order to insure available docents, reservations are required. Pre-payment is preferred, but not required.

School Tours
Elementary school educational tours are held in the spring and fall terms for 4th and 5th grade classes. Tour slots are limited, and awarded by lottery at the end of the previous term. See the Education page for details.

 Special Study
The garden is open year-round for horticultural students and professionals, for the purpose of botanical research and private horticultural study. Please contact us for more information.

PARKING
As you enter Quarryhill you will see signs for the parking area. Please carpool if possible, as parking space can be limited. Tour buses are able to fit through the main entrance gate and into the parking area.
