A WORTHY

CAUSE

Saturday, May 18th

5:30 - 8:00 pm

Last year, Quarryhill brought over 1,000 Sonoma County grade school students into the garden for hands-on science education - but with nearly 72,000 in the county, we have just scratched the surface.  This is a problem that we at Quarryhill Botanical Garden are working hard to correct by bringing in-the-field science education back to the forefront.

Our hope is to raise enough money from our Wild Collections, Expeditions for Education Fundraiser on Saturday, May 18th from 5:30 – 8:00 PM to expand our education program and serve many more students and schools, thus offering the valuable opportunity to advance their science education.  With your support, together we will foster the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts, naturalists and future scientists.

A PARTY NOT TO BE MISSED - not just a great cause but a great party too!

Here is a sneak peek at what’s in store  . . .

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with champagne and then escorted on a cart through bowers of beautiful flowering dogwoods, roses, irises and rhododendrons.  Once in the garden, stroll along the paths to further experience its magic and breathtaking views.  Listen to the sweet sounds of running waterfalls and smooth jazz while teasing your palate with delectable sushi along the way.  As you reach the center of the garden, indulge in exquisite Asian-inspired cuisine, while sipping a cocktail with friends.  At the conclusion of the evening, world-renowned botanist Dr. Peter Raven, President Emeritus of Missouri Botanical Garden, will speak about the importance of educating our children about nature, followed by a brief Fund-A-Need to benefit Quarryhill's education program.

See you at Wild Collections!
